Due to a clash in the diary for our guest speaker Ajaz Ahmed (founder of Freeserve), we regret to inform you that he is no longer able to present at the forthcoming event.
We have consulted with several registered businesses and decided to tailor the skills evening to provide a more personalised and informal evening, with a glass of wine and light refreshments.
The evening's agenda will be:

6.00 - 6.15 - Introduction and short film 'Experiencing Careers for Real' (depicting young people interviewing local businesses/entrepreneurs about their businesses/jobs/importance of core competencies/HE/skills in general - produced by a local new creative business)

6.40 - 7.00 - Diplomas - Helping to Shape the Future Workforce - presentation + Q&A
7.05 - 7.25 - Higher York - Presentation
7.25 - 7.30 - Wrap up and final feedback
7.30 - 8.30 - Food, wine and networking.

This event is FREE but booking is essential. Deadline is 12pm 4 Dec. Places are limited and priority will be given to businesses and sole traders working within the creative and digital sector.
